Uniting for a Bigger Impact: What the Proposed Merger Means for You
The HBA of Greater Cleveland’s Board of Trustees has announced a pivotal TOWN HALL meeting scheduled for August 14 from 12 (noon) - 5pm at the HBA’s Lower-Level Training Center in Independence, Ohio.
Members will cast their votes on a proposed merger with the HBA of Summit - Portage Counties. This meeting marks a significant moment in the organization’s future, as the merger could bring expanded services: a larger regional network; a larger pool of builders, remodelers, vendors and subcontractors; and a much stronger voice advocating for our industry in northeast Ohio.
The proposed merger has been under discussion for months, which initially started as a Shared Services Committee a few years ago. Both organizations have conducted due diligence and engaged in planning this past year. If approved, the merger would combine resources and leadership structures, aiming to enhance efficiency and better serve members’ needs.
“This is a defining moment for our organization,” said HBA President Andrew Gotlieb “We want every member to feel informed and involved in shaping our future.”
Meeting materials, including the full merger proposal and FAQs, are available on the HBA Website and at the HBA office. For more information or to submit questions in advance, members can contact the following HBA representatives via email or HBA office at 216.447.8700.
